The Pacers ended 2023 with a run of three consecutive wins, and they kept that run going in the early stages of 2024, winning back-to-back meetings with Milwaukee, 122-113 and 142-130.
They took their win streak to six games with a 150-116 blowout of Atlanta, only to then lose 118-101 when they hosted Boston.
Indiana got immediate revenge, beating Boston 133-131 a couple of days later, and they backed that up with a 112-104 victory over Washington and a 126-108 win in Atlanta.
The Pacers have not won since though, following up a 117-109 defeat in Denver with a 132-105 loss to Utah.
Sacramento Kings Form
Sacramento return to their home court looking to snap a run of three consecutive defeats.
The Kings started the year with a 111-104 defeat to Charlotte, but rebounded quickly to beat Orlando 138-135 in double overtime, before beating Toronto 135-130.
They then bounced back from a 133-100 blowout loss to New Orleans with a 131-110 victory in Detroit.
Sacramento made it back-to-back wins when they travelled to Charlotte to take down the Hornets, 123-98, but they have not won since that night.
The Kings were beaten 112-93 in Philadelphia and 143-142 (OT) in Milwaukee, before heading to Phoenix for a 119-117 loss to the Suns.
Verdict
Indiana have been a reliable underdog in recent weeks, so if Haliburton is cleared to play here we expect them to at least run Sacramento close.
