The USA got off to a slow start against New Zealand, but went on a tear in the third quarter and eventually won 99-72.
They then followed that up with a 109-81 victory over Greece, before dominating Jordan in a 110-62 victory.
The United States then made it four-in-a-row in their opening game of the second round, beating Montenegro 85-73 to seal a place in the quarter-finals.
They do not go into this game with a perfect record though, having failed to overcome a slow start as they were beaten 110-104 by Lithuania last time out.
