Their next two outings at the FedEx Form came against Eastern Conference opposition, and they produced mixed results.
Memphis failed to build on their season-opening victory as they suffered a 146-114 blowout defeat to Miami.
The Grizzlies rebounded on Saturday though, as they won 128-103 against an Indiana team that made it all the way to the NBA Finals last time around.
Golden State Warriors Form
Golden State return home looking to rebound from their first defeat of the season, which dropped them to 2-1.
The Warriors began the season with a trip to Los Angeles to face the Lakes on opening night, and they returned home with the ‘W’ thanks to a 119-109 success.
They backed that up in their home opener as they took down Denver in overtime, 137-131, but they were unable to back that up in Portland last Friday night.
Golden State went out on the road for their third game of the season and suffered a blowout loss.
The Warriors gave up 139 points in regulation time as they were beaten 139-119 by the Trail Blazers.

Golden State gave up a lot last Friday, but we are giving them the benefit of the doubt because they were playing on no days’ rest.
