Orlando headed to London having recorded back-to-back victories for the first time since the start of December.
The Magic spent the final few weeks of 2025 riding a rollercoaster run of form, although they ended the year on a positive note with a 112-110 victory at Indiana.
They failed to back that up as they opened 2026 with a 121-114 loss in Chicago, and they were then unable to back up a 135-127 success at home to Indiana as they fell 120-112 in Washington.
Orlando responded with a 104-103 overtime victory in Brooklyn, only to immediately return to losing ways as they were beaten 103-91 at home by Philadelphia.
The Magic have not lost since though, following up a 128-118 victory over New Orleans with a 118-111 success when they took on Memphis in Germany on Thursday.

Memphis move on to London desperate need of a victory, having now lost seven of their previous nine games.
The Grizzlies registered back-to-back victories over Christmas as they followed up a 137-128 success in Utah with a 125-104 win at home to Milwaukee.
Their form collapsed after that however, as they lost four straight games, falling 116-112 in Washington, 139-136 at home to Philadelphia and both 128-121 and 120-114 at the Los Angeles Lakers.
Memphis briefly stopped the rot with a 106-105 win at home to San Antonio, only to quickly return to losing ways as they were beaten 117-98 by Phoenix and 117-116 by Oklahoma City.
The Grizzlies did avoid a third straight defeat as they beat Brooklyn 103-98, but they were again unable to back up a win as they lost 118-111 to Orlando in Germany.

All of the momentum is with Orlando heading into this second meeting between the two teams in Europe.
