New York then bounced back from a 109-94 loss in Cleveland by winning three straight, beating Milwaukee 127-98, San Antonio 114-89 and Toronto 111-95.
The Knicks’ run was ended by a 103-100 loss to Oklahoma City, and they then failed to build on a 142-130 demolition of Denver as they fell 110-97 to the Los Angeles Lakers.
LA Clippers Form
Los Angeles’ record since the start of February is mixed, but they do enter this game on a good run thanks to four wins in their last five games.
The Clippers began February with a 117-93 win in Phoenix, only to then lose 128-113 to Philadelphia and 124-91 to Cleveland at home.
They rebounded on the road to beat Sacramento 114-111 and Minnesota 114-96, before answering a 102-95 defeat to Houston with a 105-102 win over the Rockets.
Los Angeles returned home to beat Denver 115-114, but went cold after that as they lost 125-122 at the Los Angeles Lakers, and 111-109 to Orlando and 94-88 to Minnesota at home.
The Clippers responded with a three-game surge, beating New Orleans 137-117, Golden State 114-101 and Indiana 130-107, before bouncing back from a 116-112 defeat to San Antonio with a 123-120 success in Memphis.
