The Knicks suffered back-to-back defeats at home, losing 122-108 to Dallas and 125-111 to conference rivals Indiana.
Orlando Magic Form
Orlando come into this matchup in decent form despite last night's loss, having won six of their last nine games.
The Magic endured a rough time during much of January as they stacked up losses, but a flurry at the end of the month sparked a turnaround.
They sandwiched a 131-129 defeat in Dallas with a 113-98 upset of Phoenix and a 108-98 win over San Antonio.
Orlando then built on that victory over the Spurs by winning 108-106 in Minnesota and 111-99 in Detroit, before capping off that road trip with a 121-95 defeat in Miami.
The Magic responded to that loss at home, backing up a 127-111 win over San Antonio with a 114-108 overtime success against Chicago, before falling 127-113 to Oklahoma City last night.
