The Knicks ended November with back-to-back home wins, beating Charlotte 115-91 and Detroit 118-112.

They then made it three-in-a-row with a 119-106 victory in Toronto, but since that night they have won just once.

New York were beaten 146-122 in Milwaukee, before heading to Boston for a 133-123 defeat at the hands of the Celtics.

The Knicks avoided a third straight loss by beating Toronto 136-130, but they failed to follow that up on Wednesday as they were beaten 117-113 in Utah.

Phoenix enter this matchup in bad form, having now lost five of their last seven games to fall to 13-10.

The Suns enjoyed a seven-game win streak in late November that kick-started their season, but the wheels have fallen off since then.

They lost 112-105 in Toronto and 119-111 at home to Denver, and then failed to build on a 116-109 victory over Memphis.

Phoenix were beaten 106-103 at the Los Angeles Lakers and 114-106 at home to Sacramento, but they again avoided a third straight defeat as they beat Golden State 119-116.

However, the Suns were once again unable to back up a win, losing 116-112 to Brooklyn on Wednesday night.
