The Thunder began the month with a 121-111 victory in Denver, and backed that up at home by blowing out Orlando, 128-92.
Their form dipped as they then lost 116-106 in San Antonio and 112-106 at home to Houston, although they did rebound on the road to down the Los Angeles Lakers, 119-110, and Phoenix, 136-109.
Oklahoma City failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 110-93 to Milwaukee before the All-Star break, but they have not tasted defeat since returning to action.
The Thunder beat Brooklyn 105-86 and Cleveland 121-113 at home, before heading to Toronto to down the Raptors, 116-107, last night.
Detroit Pistons Form
Detroit enter this matchup on the back of a loss, but in good form having won eight of their previous 10 games.
The Pistons ended January with a 131-124 victory at Golden State, and backed that up at home by beating Brooklyn 130-77 and Denver 124-121.
That run was ended by a 126-117 loss to Washington, but they rebounded quickly from that loss.
Detroit blew out New York at home, 118-80, before heading out on the road to down Charlotte 110-104, Toronto 113-95, New York 126-111 and Chicago 126-110.
The Pistons’ run was ended at five games however, as they fell 114-103 at home to San Antonio on Monday.
Verdict
This is a lot of points, but Oklahoma City played just last night and they are without some of their best players.
Detroit are healthy, rested and are in good form, so they can take full advantage to pick up the ‘W’ and cover the spread.
