Phoenix head to New Orleans on a three-game win streak and having won eight of their last 11 games.

The Suns struggled in the run up to Christmas, losing three straight games, but they rallied before the New Year and embarked on a four-game winning run.

That sequence was halted by a 131-122 defeat to the LA Clippers, and although they bounced back to beat Miami 113-97, their dip continued over the next two games.

Phoenix were beaten 121-115 at home by Memphis, before heading out on the road to lose 138-111 at the LA Clippers.

However, the Suns have got back on track since then, following up a 127-109 win at the Los Angeles Lakers with a 127-116 victory over Portland and a 119-117 success against Sacramento.

New Orleans Pelicans Form

New Orleans are looking to build on a Wednesday night win and continue a decent start to 2024.

The Pelicans wrapped up 2023 with a couple of victories, and took that win streak to four games when they won their first two outings in the New Year.

They failed to make it five-in-a-row as they lost 111-95 to the LA Clippers, but they rebounded quickly to win 133-100 in Sacramento and 141-105 at Golden State.

New Orleans then responded to a 125-113 defeat in Denver with a 118-108 upset of the Mavericks in Dallas.

The Pelicans failed to followed that up as they were beaten 125-120 by the Mavericks in the rematch, although they did bounce back quickly in the form of a 132-112 win at home to Charlotte.
