The Broncos kicked things off against Georgia Southern a week ago, and despite giving up a bunch of points and yards in that one, they were able to win a shootout, 56-45.
It was a decent start for a team looking to pick up from where they left off last season.
Boise State lost five of their first nine games, but finished strong with a three-game win streak that earned them a place in the Mountain West Championship Game.
The Broncos beat UNLV 44-20 to win the crown, only to then lose 35-28 when they took on UCLA in the LA Bowl to wrap up the campaign.

Oregon made hard work of their opening-day win, but they did get the job done and they will now aim to go 2-0.
The Ducks spluttered offensively against Idaho, but they did enough to earn a 24-14 victory to kick off the campaign.
They went into that season-opening matchup looking to start another run to a conference championship game, having made the Pac-12 matchup with an 11-1 record last season.
Oregon lost that game to Washington, 34-31, but did rebound several weeks later to beat Liberty 45-6 in the Fiesta Bowl.
The Ducks have since moved over to the Big Ten Conference, and with their conference debut not until the end of the month, they are aiming to build some momentum.
Verdict
Oregon underwhelmed on opening weekend, but we are expecting a strong showing here.
