The Tigers finished 11-3 a year ago, winning the ACC Championship Game, but there were some disappointments along the way.
They were beaten 35-14 at unranked Notre Dame and also suffered a 31-30 defeat at the hands of South Carolina that knocked them out of the top 10.
Clemson did go 4-1 against ranked teams though, beating #21 Wake Forest 51-45, #10 NC State 30-20 and #14 Syracuse 27-21, before downing #24 North Carolina 39-10 in the ACC Championship.
The Tigers failed to close out with a Bowl Game victory however, losing 31-14 to #6 Tennessee in the Orange Bowl.

Duke will have their sights set on build on a successful first season under head coach Mike Elko, who led them to a 9-4 record and a Bowl Game win.
The Blue Devils did not face a ranked team on their schedule but they did manage some notable wins.
The most notable victory was a 45-21 success when they visited the Miami Hurricanes in late October.
Duke won four of their final five games of the regular season, wrapping things up with a 34-31 victory over Wake Forest.
The Blue Devils then backed that up in the Military Bowl, beating UCF 30-13 to end the season on a high.

Clemson have been the dominant force in the ACC and are the team to beat once again.
