The Scarlet Knights kicked off the season with three consecutive non-conference wins, beating Ohio 34-31, Miami Ohio 45-17 and 60-10.
They failed to transfer that over to conference play though, as they lost their first four games on the Big Ten schedule, starting with a 38-28 home defeat to Iowa.
Rutgers then went out on the road to lose 31-28 at Minnesota and 38-19 in Washington, before returning back home for a 56-10 defeat to top-10 Oregon.
The Scarlets finally got off the mark with a 27-24 win at Purdue, and they then rebounded from a 35-13 home defeat at Illinois with a 35-20 victory when they hosted Maryland.

Ohio State enter their penultimate game of the regular season having won all of their 10 games to stay firmly on course for the Big Ten crown and the playoffs.
The Buckeyes opened the campaign with a 14-7 victory over a Texas team that began the campaign as AP’s number one team in the nation.
They then blew out Grambling State 7-0 and beat Ohio 37-9, before kicking off their Big Ten schedule with a 24-6 success at Washington.
Ohio State then beat Minnesota 42-3 before heading out on the road to down Illinois 34-16 and Wisconsin 34-0.
The Buckeyes then sandwiched a 34-10 victory at Purdue with home wins at the expense of Penn State, 38-14, and UCLA, 48-10.

Ohio State have been firing on all three fronts this season and are showing no signs of slowing down.
The Buckeyes are simply many levels above Rutgers, so we expect them to cover the spread as they register win number 11.
