Vanderbilt failed to make it six-in-a-row as they lost 30-14 in Alabama, but their response has been solid.
The Commodores rebounded immediately to beat top-10 LSU at home, 31-24, and backed that up last weekend with a 17-10 success against ranked Missouri.

Texas enter this matchup on a three-game win streak but knowing that another SEC defeat will end their playoff hopes.
The Longhorns entered the season as AP’s number one ranked team, but were quickly knocked off the summit as they were beaten 14-7 by defending national champions Ohio State.
They rebounded over the next three weeks, but their stock plummeted as they beat San Jose State 38-7, UTEP 27-10 and Sam Houston 55-0.
Texas then fell out of AP’s rankings altogether as they lost their SEC opener in Florida, 29-21, but they have clawed their way back into the top 20 over the past three weeks.
The Longhorns rebounded with a 23-6 upset of top-10 Oklahoma, and backed that up on the road as they beat Kentucky 16-13 and Mississippi State 45-38 in overtime.
