Arizona return from the bye week looking to snap a five-game losing skid that has dropped them to 2-5.
The Cardinals made a flying start to the season as they opened with back-to-back wins, beating New Orleans 20-13 on the road and Carolina 27-22 at home.
It has been all downhill since then though, with a 16-15 defeat at San Francisco proving to be the start of this long losing run.
Arizona followed up that loss to the 49ers by losing back-to-back home games, 23-20 to Seattle and 22-21 to Tennessee.
The Cardinals then suffered a 31-27 defeat in Indianapolis, before returning home for a 27-23 loss to Green Bay.
Dallas Cowboys Form
Dallas go into this game looking to rebound from their fourth defeat of the season, which has left them with a 3-4-1 record.
The Cowboys opened the season with a 24-20 defeat in Philadelphia, but got off the mark a week later as they beat the New York Giants in overtime 40-37.
They failed to build on that as they lost 31-14 in Chicago and went to a 40-40 home tie with Green Bay, before finally getting back to winning ways with a 37-22 success at the New York Jets.
Dallas failed to follow that up though, losing 30-27 in Carolina, but they did issue an immediate response in the form of a 44-22 victory over Washington.
The Cowboys were again unable to string together wins though, as they lost 44-22 in Denver last time out.
Verdict
Dallas’ overall inconsistency continues, but they are back home for this one and that is key.
