Cincinnati make the trip to Mile High looking to rebound from a blowout defeat that ended their perfect start to the season.
The Bengals kicked off the campaign on the road and battled their way past division rivals Cleveland, winning 17-16 thanks to a late field goal.
They backed that up a week later in their home opener, as they again produced some late heroics to snatch a 31-27 victory over Jacksonville.
Cincinnati’s win came at a cost though, as they lost starting quarterback Joe Burrow for at least the next three months.
Jake Browning got the start in Burrow’s absence last weekend, and endured a nightmare day at the office as the Bengals were blown out in Minnesota, 48-10.
Denver Broncos Form
Denver return home looking to rebound from back-to-back road defeats that have left them with a 1-2 record.
The Broncos went one-and-done in the playoffs a year ago, and came into the 2025 campaign with aims of a deeper postseason run this time around.
They got off to a solid start as they opened the season with a 20-12 victory over Tennessee at home.
Denver failed to back that up on the road though, as they gave up nine unanswered points, including a walk-off field goal, to lose 29-28 in Indianapolis.
That became back-to-back defeats for the Broncos last weekend as they lost to yet another walk-off field goal, this time losing 23-20 at the Los Angeles Chargers.
Verdict
Denver have dropped a couple of heart-breakers, but we expect a response here.
Cincinnati’s offense is a mess without Joe Burrow at the controls, so we expect the Denver defense to dominate and the offense to do enough.
