The Packers went on a five-game losing run between early October and early November that put them in trouble.
They were able to snap that skid with a 31-28 overtime win against Dallas, but failed to build on that as they went on to lose their next two games.
Green Bay have bounced back either side of their bye week though to keep themselves in the mix.
They ran out 28-19 winners at Chicago at the start of December, and then backed that up on Monday night with a 24-12 win against the Los Angeles Rams.

Miami remain firmly in the playoff race, but three consecutive defeats have derailed their season.
The Dolphins went into their bye week on a four-game win streak, and when they returned to action they made it five-in-a-row with a 30-15 win at home to Houston.
They have been on the road ever since though, and their form has nose-dived.
Miami fell to a 33-17 defeat at San Francisco despite coming up against the 49ers’ third string quarterback.
The Dolphins then lost 23-17 at the Los Angeles Chargers before heading to Buffalo for a last-gasp 32-29 defeat to their AFC East rivals.
