Los Angeles enter their final regular season home game having won four straight games to reach 11-4 and secure playoff football.
The Chargers raced out of the blocks with three consecutive wins, only to cool off over the next four games as they lost three times.
They rallied with a three-game winning run, backing up a 37-10 victory over Minnesota with a 27-20 win at Tennessee and a 25-10 success at home to Pittsburgh.
Los Angeles failed to make it four-in-a-row as they lost 35-6 at Jacksonville before the bye, but they have not lost since the bye.
The Chargers won back-to-back home games, beating Las Vegas 31-14 and Philadelphia 22-19, before heading out on the road to down Kansas City 16-13 and Dallas 34-17.
