Los Angeles enter the game on the back of a heart-breaking loss, but having won eight of the last 10 to stay playoff bound at 11-4.
The Rams made a strong start to the season as they won five of their first seven games to enter they bye week at 5-2.
They won their final two games before that break, and kept that momentum going when they returned from the bye, beating New Orleans 34-10, San Francisco 42-26, Seattle 21-19 and Tampa Bay 34-7.
Los Angeles' run was ended at six games as they were beaten 31-28 in Carolina, but they responded quickly to beat Arizona 45-17 and Detroit 41-34.
The Rams were unable to make it three wins in a row however, as they lost 38-37 in overtime at Seattle last time out.
Atlanta Falcons Form
Atlanta enter this Monday night matchup having won back-to-back games to improve to 6-9.
The Falcons went into an early bye week at 2-2, and then failed to follow up a 24-14 upset of Buffalo as they lost five consecutive games.
They lost 20-10 at San Francisco, 34-10 to Miami, 24-23 at New England, 31-25 to Indianapolis and 30-27 to Carolina, before finally stopping the rot with a 24-10 win over New Orleans.
Atlanta were unable to back that up as they lost 27-24 to the New York Jets and 37-9 to Seattle.
The Falcons have rallied in recent weeks though, going out on the road to down Tampa Bay 29-28 and Arizona 26-19.
Verdict
Los Angeles' NFC West hopes took a massive hit last time out, but we expect a response.
The Rams are the better team in better form, and we expect to see them get back on track on the road.
