Minnesota head to Detroit looking to snap a two-game losing sequence that has left them 3-4.
The Vikings opened the season with a 27-24 victory in Chicago, only to be brought back down to Earth by a 22-6 loss to Atlanta in their home opener.
They rebounded to blow out Cincinnati, 48-10, and then responded to a 24-21 defeat in Pittsburgh with a 21-17 victory in Cleveland before the bye week.
Minnesota have not won since though, dropping back-to-back games since returning to action.
The Vikings were beaten 28-22 at home by Philadelphia, before heading to Los Angeles for a 37-10 defeat to the Chargers on Thursday Night Football.
Detroit Lions Form
Detroit return from the bye week seeking a sixth win of the season as they battle Green Bay for top spot in the NFC North.
The Lions kicked off the campaign with a 27-13 defeat at the Packers, but they issued a strong response to that early setback.
They blew out Chicago in their home opener a week later, 52-21, and then backed that up with a 38-30 victory at Baltimore and a 34-10 home win over Cleveland.
Detroit made it four-in-a-row by beating Cincinnati 37-24 on the road, only to see their run end with a 30-17 loss at Kansas City.
The Lions issued an immediate response though, as they beat Tampa Bay at home, 24-9.
Verdict
Detroit are on a roll and now get to host an inconsistent Minnesota team who have a big question to answer at quarterback.
