The Giants kicked off the season with back-to-back defeats to division rivals, losing 21-6 at Washington and 40-37 in overtime at Dallas.
Their skid then reached three games with a 22-9 defeat to Kansas City in their home opener, before they finally got off the mark with a surprise 21-18 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
New York failed to build on that victory though, as they suffered a 26-14 defeat in New Orleans.
The Giants were then unable to back up the 34-17 upset of Philadelphia as they gave up 33 points in the fourth quarter to lose 33-32 in Denver.

Philadelphia enter this big division matchup having rebounded from back-to-back defeats to improve to 5-2.
The Eagles began their defence of the Vince Lombardi Trophy with a 24-20 win at home to division rivals Dallas.
They then backed that up by beating Kansas City 20-17 in a rematch of last season’s Super Bowl, before downing the Los Angeles Rams 33-26 and Tampa Bay 31-25.
Philadelphia’s perfect start was finally ended in Week 5 though, as they fell 21-17 at home to Denver, and they then suffered a surprise 34-17 defeat at the New York Giants.
The Eagles rallied last Sunday though, as they went out on the road to beat the Vikings in Minnesota, 28-22.
Verdict
It has been over a decade since New York won in Philadelphia, and we expect that drought to continue.
