After only a handful of snaps and no completions, the legendary QB suffered a season-ending injury that is a huge blow to the Jets’ Super Bowl dream.

Dallas could not have made a much better start to the season, having blown out a division rival on the road in a primetime game.
The Cowboys, as always, came into the season with plenty of hype as a leading contender to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.
On opening weekend they were paired with a New York Giants team who made the playoffs in Brian Daboll’s debut season and had their sights set firmly on another trip to the postseason.
Dallas issued them with a huge reality check on Sunday night though, blowing them out 40-0 at MetLife Stadium.
The defense racked up seven sacks, forced three turnovers and gave up only 171 total yards to the Giants.
Verdict
Dallas’ offense are unlikely to match last week’s points total, but they will not need to.
The Cowboys defense is backed to put the clamps on a Rodgers-less Jets offense and ensure the home team win this comfortably.
