Darnold’s debut ended in defeat as they were beaten 17-13 at home by division rivals San Francisco, but their response has been strong.
Seattle got off the mark a week later as they went out on the road to down the Steelers in Pittsburgh, 31-17.
The Seahawks then backed that up at home last weekend as they hung 44 points on New Orleans, beating the Saints 44-13 in blowout fashion.
Arizona Cardinals Form
Arizona enter this short week having seen their perfect start to the season come to an end last weekend.
The Cardinals also missed out on the postseason in 2024, finishing 8-9, but they retained the services of head coach Jonathan Gannon.
They made a solid start to the 2025 campaign as they kicked off the season with a 20-13 victory on the road in New Orleans.
Arizona backed that up a week later as they returned home to battle past Carolina, winning 27-22.
The Cardinals failed to make it three wins in a row though, as they went back out on the road last weekend and dropped a heart-breaker to division rivals San Francisco, losing 16-15.
Verdict
Both teams are 2-1 heading into this, but Seattle offer more reasons for optimism.
