The Seahawks opened the season with a 17-13 defeat to San Francisco, but their response to that early setback has been strong.
They got off the mark with a 31-17 victory in Pittsburgh, and backed that up by blowing out New Orleans 44-13 at home.
Seattle made it three-in-a-row with a 23-20 win in Arizona, only to then suffer a 38-35 defeat when they returned home to take on Tampa Bay.
The Seahawks have not lost since though, following up a 20-12 victory in Jacksonville with a 27-10 victory against Houston prior to the bye week.
Washington Commanders Form
Washington return home in desperate need of a win, having now lost three straight games to fall to 3-5.
The Commanders made it all the way to the NFC Championship Game last season, but have struggled through the first few weeks of the current campaign.
They opened with a 21-6 win over the New York Giants, only to then lose 28-17 in Green Bay, and they then failed to back up a 41-24 victory over Las Vegas as they lost 34-27 in Atlanta.
Washington again rebounded quickly from a loss, winning 27-10 at the Los Angeles Chargers, but they have not won since.
The Commanders gave up a walk-off field goal to lose 25-24 at home to Chicago, and then lost back-to-back games on the road, 44-22 at Dallas and 28-7 at Kansas City.
Verdict
Seattle have enjoyed an impressive start to the season, while Washington have spluttered and struggled to keep Jaylen Daniels healthy.
