The Buccaneers opened the season with a three-game win streak, backing up road wins over Atlanta, 23-20, and Houston, 20-19, with a home win against the New York Jets, 29-27.
Their perfect start was ended by a 31-25 loss to Philadelphia, but they rebounded to beat Seattle 38-35 and San Francisco 30-19.
Tampa Bay failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 24-9 in Detroit, only to rebound with a 23-3 victory at New Orleans before the bye week.
The Buccaneers have not won since though, following up a 28-23 home loss to New England with a 44-32 defeat in Buffalo.
Los Angeles Rams Form
Los Angeles go into this matchup on a good run of form, having won each of their past five games to improve to 8-2.
The Rams opened with a 14-9 win over Houston and a 33-19 victory at Tennessee, before falling to a 33-26 defeat when they visited Philadelphia.
They rebounded with a 27-20 victory over Indianapolis, only to suffer a 26-23 overtime defeat when they hosted San Francisco.
Los Angeles have not lost since though, sparking this five-game run with a 17-3 victory at Baltimore and a 35-7 success at Jacksonville before the bye week.
The Rams then returned to action by sandwiching a 42-26 win at San Francisco with home wins over New Orleans, 34-10, and Seattle, 21-19.
Verdict
Los Angeles are on a red-hot run and look very good on both sides of the football.
So while Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers cannot be written off, we are backing the Rams to record another win and cover on Sunday Night Football.
