The Buccaneers kicked off the season with back-to-back road wins, beating Atlanta 23-20 and Houston 20-19.
They then made it three-in-a-row in their home opener, beating the New York Jets 29-27, before suffering their first defeat as they fell 31-25 to Philadelphia.
Tampa Bay rebounded with a 38-35 win in Seattle, and backed that up when they returned home to beat San Francisco 30-19.
The Buccaneers failed to make it three-in-a-row however, as they were beaten 24-9 in Detroit last Monday night.
New Orleans Saints Form
New Orleans return home on the back of yet another loss, which has left them with a 1-6 record.
The Saints opened the campaign with back-to-back home games, but failed to take advantage as they lost 20-13 to Arizona and 26-21 to San Francisco.
They then dropped consecutive games on the road to fall to 0-4, losing 44-13 in Seattle and 31-19 at Buffalo.
New Orleans finally got off the mark in Week 5 with a 26-14 victory against the New York Giants, but they failed to back that up.
The Saints were beaten 25-19 by New England, before heading to Chicago for a 26-14 defeat to the Bears.
Verdict
Tampa may have lost last time out, but these are two teams headed in different directions.
