Washington head to Arlington looking to issue an immediate response to their Monday night defeat, which dropped them to 3-3.
The Commanders enjoyed a winning start to the season as they beat the New York Giants at home, 21-6.
They failed to back that up as they then lost 27-18 in Green Bay, but they quickly bounced back thanks to a 41-24 success against Las Vegas.
Washington again failed to build on a victory as they lost 34-27 in Atlanta, only to again answer that setback instantly, winning 27-10 at the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Commanders could not make it back-to-back wins on Monday though, as they gave up a walk-off field goal to lose 25-24 at home to Chicago.
Dallas Cowboys Form
Dallas return home for the first time since late September looking to rebound from their worst result of the season so far, which has left them 2-3-1.
The Cowboys opened the season with a 24-20 defeat at defending champions Philadelphia, but rebounded in the home opener to beat the New York Giants in overtime, 40-37.
The struggling defense was a major cause for concern though, and a week later they were beaten 31-14 in Chicago.
Dallas then put up 40 points in their next game at home to Green Bay, but also coughed up 40 points to the Packers to settle for a tie.
The Cowboys finally ended their winless sequence with a 37-22 victory at the New York Jets, only to fall 30-27 when they visited Carolina.
Verdict
Washington would have preferred this to be at home, but the timing is still good for the Commanders.
Jayden Daniels can bounce back from his Monday night errors, take advantage of a bad Cowboys defense, and lead the Commanders to victory.
