The Commanders came into the new campaign with high expectations after last season’s run to the conference championship, and they opened with a 21-6 win over the New York Giants.
They failed to back that up as they lost 27-18 to Green Bay, and they were then unable to back up a 41-24 victory over Las Vegas as they fell 34-27 in Atlanta.
Washington again responded immediately to a defeat, winning 27-10 at the Los Angeles Chargers, but they have not won since.
The Commanders suffered a last-gasp 25-24 home defeat to Chicago, before losing 44-22 at division rivals Dallas.

Kansas City enter this matchup looking to win three straight games for the first time this season.
The Chiefs endured a miserable start to the season as they lost 27-21 to the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil, before falling 20-17 to Philadelphia in their home opener.
They finally got off the mark a week later with a 22-9 win at the New York Giants, and backed that up at home as they downed Baltimore 37-20.
Kansas City failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 31-28 in Jacksonville, but they have not lost since.
The Chiefs rallied with a 30-17 success at home to Detroit, and then shut out Las Vegas in a 31-0 victory at Arrowhead.

Kansas City have roared into life over the past couple of games, while the Commanders are reeling after back-to-back losses and the possible loss of Jayden Daniels.
