Boston will look to give themselves a 2-0 lead in the series after beating Florida for the fifth time this season in Game 1.
The Bruins went 47-20-15 in the regular season and won all four of their meetings with the Panthers during that run.
They set up this series with a 4-3 victory over Toronto that saw them open up a 3-1 series lead, only to then lose 2-1 in overtime at home and 2-1 in regulation on the road.
Boston avoided another postseason collapse though, as they battle to a 2-1 overtime win in Game 7 to advance to the second round.
Despite the quick turnaround, the Bruins then backed up that victory with an impressive 5-1 win at Florida to give themselves an early advantage in this series.
Florida Panthers Form
Florida are aiming to bounce from their second postseason defeat before heading out on the road for Games 3 and 4.
The Panthers won the Atlantic Division with a 52-24-6 record, and they made a fast start to the playoffs as they reeled off three consecutive wins over Tampa Bay.
They beat the Lightning 3-2 in regulation and 3-2 in overtime, before heaidng out on the road to record a 5-3 victory.
Florida failed to complete a series sweep as they then lost 6-3 on the road, but they bounced back immediately from that loss with a 6-1 blowout of Tampa in Game 5.
However, the Panthers failed to follow up that win in the first round of this series, as they crashed to a 5-1 defeat at home to Boston.
Verdict
Winning back-to-back games in Florida will be tough, but history suggests Boston can do it.
They have owned the Panthers this season and have a tremendous recent record when visiting the Panthers, so they make for appealing underdog.
