Dallas arrive in Seattle on a good run of form, having won for the seventh time in nine games just last night.
The Stars sparked this good run with a 5-4 victory in Nashville, which they backed up with a 2-1 win at home to Seattle.
They then went back out on the road to beat Ottawa 3-2 in overtime and Montreal 7-0 in regulation, before making it five wins in a row by downing Philadelphia at home, 5-1.
Dallas’ run was ended by a 3-2 home defeat to the New York Islanders, but they began this four-game trip with a 4-2 victory in Vancouver.
The Stars then responded to a 3-2 shootout loss in Calgary with an 8-3 success at in Edmonton last night.
Seattle Kraken Form
Seattle enter this matchup on the back of a loss, but having won four of their previous six games.
The Kraken responded to back-to-back defeats with a couple of home wins in the middle of the month.
They beat Winnipeg 5-3 and San Jose 4-1, but failed to make it three victories in a row as they suffered a 4-2 defeat in Detroit.
Seattle rebounded from that loss with a controversial 3-2 win in Chicago, and followed that up with a 3-2 overtime success when they paid a visit to Pittsburgh.
The Kraken again failed to string together three consecutive wins however, as they lost a shootout against the New York Islanders, 1-0.
Verdict
Dallas have dominated Seattle over the past couple of seasons and their road form suggests they can continue that dominance tonight.
