Dallas lost 3-1 in Anaheim, 2-1 at Utah and 4-1 at home to Tampa Bay, before snapping that skid with a 6-2 success against Boston.
The Stars failed to backed that up as they lost 1-0 in Columbus, but they did respond immediately with a couple of victories against St Louis, winning 3-2 at home and 4-3 on the road.

Vegas enter this matchup having cooled off over the past couple of weeks, losing four of their previous five games.
The Golden Knights also endured a bad run over the festive period, losing five straight, but they came roaring back in early 2026 as they won seven straight.
