They failed to back that up as they then lost 5-2 to Colorado and 4-2 to Winnipeg, but they did kick off this road trip with a 4-0 victory in Chicago.

Minnesota again failed to follow up a win though, as they were beaten 5-2 in Colorado and 7-2 at Vegas.

The Wild did avoid a third consecutive defeat over the weekend however, winning 6-2 in San Jose.

Los Angeles Kings Form

Los Angeles are playoff bound thanks to a 43-26-11 record, and they go into this game in good form.

The Kings started April with a 4-3 defeat in Winnipeg, but they responded to that loss by winning five of their last six games.

They returned to winning ways with a 5-2 victory at home to Seattle, and followed that up on the road as they won 2-1 in San Jose.

Los Angeles took their winning run to three games with a 6-3 home success against Vancouver, only to then see it end with a 3-1 defeat in Anaheim.

The Kings have rebounded quickly though, returning home to beat Calgary 4-1 and Anaheim 3-1.
