Chicago come into this game on their best run of the season, having won three straight games to reach 8-5-3.
The Blackhawks opened the season with three consecutive defeats, but responded well to win four of their next five.
They then bounced back from a 3-1 defeat to Los Angeles with a 7-3 victory over Ottawa, but they failed to back that up.
Chicago started a six-game road trip with three straight defeats, losing 6-3 in Winnipeg, 3-2 in overtime in Edmonton and 3-1 in Seattle.
The Blackhawks rallied on the road though, following up a 5-2 victory in Vancouver with a 4-0 win at Calgary and a 5-1 success at Detroit.

Chicago have found some form in recent weeks, but their recent record against New Jersey makes for ugly reading.
