The Stars began the season with a shootout victory at home to St Louis, only to then lose their road opener in Vegas via a shootout.

Dallas bounced back with a 3-2 victory in Anaheim, before returning home to edge past Philadelphia in overtime 5-4.
The Stars then made it three consecutive wins earlier this week as they travelled to Pittsburgh to beat the Penguins 4-1.
