France Form
France have their sights set on causing an upset as they attempt to follow up their first win of the tournament.
The French departed after the group stage a year ago, winning just one of their seven games, and the losing continued in their first two games of the 2024 tournament.
They opened up with a 3-1 defeat to Kazakhstan despite being a slight favorite heading into that game.
France then lost 3-2 to Latvia, before finally getting off the mark at the third time of asking.
The French went into the meeting with Poland as betting favorites, and they lived up to their billing with a much-needed 2-0 win.

The losses are starting to pile up for the USA, but they remain one of the best teams in this tournament.
They are still many levels above France and have repeatedly beaten them in convincing fashion, so we are giving the Americans the benefit of the doubt in this one.
