Monterrey arrive for their second-leg against Inter Miami having dealt a huge blow to their hosts by winning the away tie 2-1 last week.
Inter Miami have a mountain to climb in this one as they try to overturn a one-goal deficit following the first-leg.

The two sides have only met once before, with Monterrey running out 2-1 winners last week.

Monterrey have been excellent in the CONCACAF Champions League, with the side securing five wins in a row in the competition.
Their 2-1 win over Inter Miami last time out backed up a 3-1 aggregate win over FC Cincinnati, with this following a crushing 7-1 aggregate win over Comunicaciones. Clearly, Monterrey have been incredibly difficult to stop in the Champions League as they continue to march on.
The real worry for Monterrey will be keeping Lionel Messi out of the game. If the Argentine plays the whole match then the home team will have to find a way to cu the supply to him, although this doesn't always solve the problem against a player of Messi's quality.
Inter Miami Form
Inter Miami were not good enough last week as they slipped to a 2-1 loss at home as their CONCACAF Champions League hopes suffered a major blow.
Ideally, they would have followed up their loss to Monterrey with a commanding win in the MLS against Colorado, but they failed to do this. They came from 1-0 down to lead 2-1, but they conceded an 88th minute goal as all of their possession and shots were rendered useless as they dropped points again.
While I believe that Lionel Messi will get a goal in this one, we do not have the confidence to back Inter to win this one outright.
