Birmingham head back out on the road looking to rebound from last week’s last-gasp loss in Houston.
The Stallions entered the season as the sportsbooks’ favorites to win it all, despite the change of head coach, but so far things have not gone to plan.
They did open the season with a victory on the road, but a 15-13 win at league newcomers Louisville hardly sent shockwaves through the league.
Birmingham then failed to follow up that victory when they went out on the road for the first time this season.
The Stallions let the Gamblers stick around last weekend, and that came back to haunt them as a late field goal condemned them to a 22-20 defeat.

St Louis also enter this Week 3 matchup looking to rebound from their first defeat of the season.
Just like Birmingham, the Battlehawks also experienced a change of head coach in the offseason, and just like the Stallions their new man got off to a winning start.
They hosted the defending champion DC Defenders in their season-opener, and ran out 16-10 winners at the Dome.
St Louis failed to back that up in their first road game of the campaign though.
The Battlehawks’ offense could not keep pace with Austin Reed and his high-scoring Dallas Renegades offense, resulting in a 31-15 defeat.

St Louis could not keep pace with Dallas on the scoreboard last week – but few teams will this season.
