Calgary head out on the road looking to get back on track, having lost their last two games to drop to 8-5.
The Stampeders made a flying start to the season as they won five of their first six games, before cooling off in late July with back-to-back defeats.
They rallied in August though as they downed Winnipeg 28-27 before the bye week to spark a run of three consecutive victories.
Calgary then returned to action to beat division winners Saskatchewan at home, 32-15, before making it three-in-a-row with a 28-7 success in Edmonton.
However, the Stampeders lost the immediate rematch with the Elks on the road, 31-19 and last weekend it became back-to-back losses for them as they fell 52-23 to the BC Lions.
Montreal Alouettes Form
Montreal enter this matchup having boosted their playoff quest with back-to-back wins, improving to 7-7.
The Alouettes opened the season with three straight victories, and then responded to back-to-back defeats with a couple of wins to enter August at 5-2.
Their form completely collapsed after that though, as a 34-6 blowout loss to Saskatchewan sparked a five-game skid that dropped them to 5-7.
Montreal lost 23-22 to Edmonton, 36-18 at the BC Lions, 25-13 to Winnipeg and 29-6 to Hamilton during this bad run.
The Alouettes have turned things around over the past couple of weeks however, backing up a 48-31 success in Saskatchewan with a 21-19 victory at defending champions Toronto.
Verdict
Montreal make for an appealing underdog for this showdown with Calgary.
The Alouettes have found a little form over the past couple of weeks and they have largely had the Stampeders' number over the past couple of seasons.
