Montreal head out on the road for the third week in a row looking to maintain their perfect start to the 2025 CFL season.
The Alouettes, who saw their Grey Cup dream end in the East Final last year, opened the new campaign by avenging last season’s playoff defeat.
They played host to Toronto in their season-opener, and took down the defending champion Argonauts, 28-10.
Montreal then followed up that victory with back-to-back successes on the road to improve their record to 3-0.
The Alouettes first beat the Redblacks in Ottawa, 39-18, before heading to Edmonton to take down the Elks, 38-28.
Hamilton Tiger-Cats Form
Hamilton return from the bye week still seeking their first victory of the 2025 CFL campaign.
The Tiger-Cats have been notoriously slow starters in recent seasons, and they will be desperate to avoid a repeat of last year’s five-game skid at the start of that campaign.
They are almost half-way towards repeating that though, having already dropped their first two games.
Hamilton opened up on the road in Calgary, and suffered a 38-26 defeat at the hands of the Stampeders.
The Tiger-Cats did not fare any better in their home opener either, as they went into the bye week on the back of a 28-23 defeat to Saskatchewan.
Verdict
Montreal are looking every bit a Grey Cup contender through the first three weeks.
