Canelo Alvarez is the defending undisputed world super-middleweight champion with a career record of 63-2 (39 KOs) with 2 draws.
Alvarez claimed the undisputed crown in November 2021 when he knocked out Caleb Plant in the 11th round to leave with the WBA (Super), WBC, WBO, IBF and Ring Magazine titles.
He stepped up to light-heavyweight after that and dropped a unanimous decision to WBA (Super) champion Dmitry Bivol, but since returning to super-middleweight he has reeled off six consecutive victories.
The first of those wins saw him beat Gennady Golovkin via unanimous decision in their trilogy fight.
Canelo then beat John Ryder and Jermell Charlo unanimously in his two outings in 2023, before downing Jaime Munguia on points in May 2024.
He was later stripped of the IBF title for failing to defend against the number one ranked contender, costing him the undisputed crown, but it did not take him long to regain it.
The 34-year-old Mexican out-pointed Edgar Berlanga over 12 rounds in his final fight of 2024, and then began 2025 with a points win over William Scull that saw him once again become the undisputed king of the super-middleweight division.

Terence Crawford is a former world champion in multiple weight classes, and he enters this fight with a perfect professional record of 41-0 (31 KOs).
Crawford became a world champion for the first time in March 2014 when he beat Ricky Burns on points to claim the WBC lightweight title.
He added the Ring Magazine title in November of that year when he beat Ray Beltran on points, before moving up to light-welterweight to claim the WBO belt with an eighth-round knockout of Thomas Dulorme.
‘Bud’ added the WBC and Ring Magazine titles in July 2016 when he beat Viktor Postl on points, and in August 2017 he claimed the WBA (Super) and IBF belts with a third-round knockout of Julius Indongo.
After unifying the entire light-welterweight division, Crawford moved up to welterweight after that and in his debut fight he stopped Jeff Horn in the ninth to claim the WBO title.
He then reeled off a string of successful defences, knocking out the likes of Amir Khan, Kell Brook and Shawn Porter along the way, before claiming the undisputed crown with a ninth-round stoppage of Errol Spence Jr in 2023.
The 37-year-old American moved up to light-middleweight for his only outing of 2024, and was able to beat Israil Madrimov on points to claim the WBA title and the interim WBO belt.
