The Lions just beat Calgary in impressive fashion, and the offense can set a scoring pace that Toronto cannot match if they are down to their third string QB again.

Toronto are not out of the playoff race just yet, but the defending champions are in serious danger of missing out following their ninth defeat of the season.
The Argonauts made a rough start to the campaign as they lost their first three games, and when they did finally get off the mark in late June, they failed to follow it up, losing the next two.
They avoided a third straight defeat by beating Winnipeg 31-17, only to again fail to string together wins as they lost 40-31 at Winnipeg, 46-42 to Ottawa and 28-20 in Edmonton.
Toronto snapped that skid in late August, beating the BC Lions 52-34, and that sparked their best run of the season as they then won 35-33 in Hamilton and 31-30 at home to Edmonton.
The Argonauts were unable to keep that good run going though, as they lost 21-19 to Montreal last week to slip to 5-9.
BC Lions Form
BC have kept themselves in the race for the postseason by winning four of their last six games to improve to 7-7.
The Lions opened with a victory, but then lost three straight games before rallying in the first half of July to get to .500.
They failed to keep that run going though as back-to-back defeats to Saskatchewan, 33-27 and Hamilton, 37-33, again left them with a losing record.
BC fought back over next couple of weeks, beating Hamilton 41-38 in overtime and Montreal 36-18 in regulation, only to again quickly fall below .500 with a 52-34 loss to Toronto and a 34-33 defeat in Ottawa.
The Lions took the immediate rematch with Ottawa however, winning 38-27 at home, and they backed that up last week with a 52-23 success in Calgary.
Verdict
BC have got back on track after a couple of recent defeats, and last weekend’s win in Calgary was quite possibly their most impressive performance to date.
They have all of the momentum heading into this one and home advantage, so we are sticking with the Lions despite the large number.
