The LIV Golf Invitational Series heads to Nevada for the first time since its inception, with the players competing for the title in Las Vegas. Who will win this inaugural tournament at the Las Vegas Country Club?

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.
Brooks Koepka
Brooks Koepka has been in great touch in his last three starts on the LIV Golf Tour and Japan Tour, with results of victory in Jeddah, T15 at the Dunlop Phoenix Tournament and T5 in Mayakoba last weekend.
Koepka's other noteworthy results from last year include victory in Orlando, T2 at the Masters, T11 in Adelaide, 3rd in Singapore, T5 in Tulsa, victory at the PGA Championship, T12 in DC, T17 at the US Open, 3rd at Valderrama and T17 in London.
Koepka had a very successful 2023, securing three titles and will look to add another trophy to his cabinet in Nevada this weekend.
Cameron Smith
Cameron Smith has been thereabouts in his last four starts, placing 2nd at the Hong Kong Open (Asian Tour), MC at the Fortinet Australian PGA Championship, T17 at the ISPS Handa Australian Open and T8 at the LIV Golf league season opener in Mayakoba.
Other notable results achieved by Smith last season include placing T3 in Adelaide, T6 in Singapore, T2 in Tulsa, T9 at the PGA Championship, T9 in DC, 4th at the US Open, and T12 at Valderrama, victory in London and Bedminster.
Smith will fancy his chances to come out on top in Las Vegas after winning two LIV Golf Tour tournaments last season.
Tyrrell Hatton
Tyrrell Hatton has been in solid form during his last five starts on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour, placing T2 at the BMW PGA Championship, T11 at the DP World Tour Championship, T14 at the Sentry, T13 at the Sony Open in Hawaii, T31 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic and T8 on debut at the LIV Golf Series tournament in Mayakoba last weekend.
Other prominent performances achieved by Hatton last year include finishing T4 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, 2nd at the Players Championship, T19 at the RBC Heritage, 3rd at the Wells Fargo Championship, T5 at the AT&T Byron Nelson, T15 at the PGA Championship, T12 at the Memorial Tournament, T3 at the RBC Canadian Open, T6 at the Genesis Scottish Open and T16 at the Tour Championship.
Hatton can turn his recent performances into a winning one at the Las Vegas Country Club this weekend.
Louis Oosthuizen
Louis Oosthuizen has been back to his best lately, winning consecutive tournaments on the DP World Tour at the Alfred Dunhill Championship and the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open before returning for the start of the 2024 LIV Golf league in Mayakoba last weekend, placing T8 overall.
Additional highlights from Oosthuizen's previous season include finishing T2 in Tucson, T11 in Adelaide, T16 in Singapore, T6 in DC, 4th in London, T23 at the Open Championship and T18 in Chicago.
Oosthuizen has come good with his game again and offers an excellent each-way bet in Nevada.
Format
An invitational field of 54 golfers will feature at the tournament, with a total purse of $25 million up for grabs. $4 million will go to the winner, while the player coming in last will pocket $50,000.
The players will contest 54 holes instead of 72 for all the LIV Golf Invitational Series events.
A shotgun start will occur, where the players will tee off simultaneously from different holes.
A 13-four-man team (four players each and two wild-card players) format will run concurrent, with the top three teams earning prize money.
Verdict
Koepka returned to form last year and has claims for the title at the Las Vegas Country Club this weekend.
Smith will aim to go one better in the race to become the individual LIV Golf Tour champion this season.
Hatton has been thereabouts in recent months and could make the frame in Nevada.
Oosthuizen has rediscovered his touch and can win his third tournament in four starts in Las Vegas this weekend.
