Arizona Diamondbacks Form
Arizona came into this series on the back of a win, but having lost seven of their previous 11 games.
This sequence started at home as the Diamondbacks were beaten 5-3 by the Chicago Cubs, and they then lost 5-0 in San Francisco.
They responded with a 17-1 demolition of the Giants, and then bounced back from a 7-3 loss to split the series with a 5-3 victory.
Arizona then moved on to St Louis and dropped two of their three meetings with the Cardinals, losing 5-3 and 5-1 either side of a 14-1 victory.
The Diamondbacks then lost the first two games of the series in Seattle, 6-1 and 3-1, but avoided being swept as they took the final meeting 3-2.
Verdict
Zach Gallen has been getting himself into trouble early in recent outings, and that spells trouble against a Dodgers team who are hitting well.
