San Francisco enter this series on the back of a loss, but they have been solid form in recent weeks with six wins in their last eight games.
The Giants ended June on a three-game losing skid, and that became four straight losses as they started July with an 8-2 defeat in Arizona.
They rallied to take the next two meetings with the Diamondbacks though, recording 6-5 and 7-2 victories.
San Francisco failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 11-2 at The Athletics, but they did issue an immediate response as they won the next two games 7-2 and 6-2.
The Giants backed up those victories with a 3-1 and 4-3 home wins over Philadelphia, only to lose the series finale 13-0.

San Francisco lost last time out, but they have been in solid form despite the blowout defeat.
