Miami missed out on the 2022 playoffs as they finished the regular season with a record of just 69-93.
Injuries were the Marlins’ undoing after a solid start, with their lack of depth coming back to haunt them.
They have made some big changes to the roster in the offseason though, but the bookmakers are not solid on them.
Miami are well down the betting for the 2023 World Series winner and are fourth in the NL East winner betting.
For now it appears as though the Marlins’ most realistic ambition for this season should be to win more games.
