The Astros have been in outstanding form at home in recent weeks and are facing a starting pitcher who has been stacking up losses this season.

Texas Rangers Form
Texas enter this series on the back of a defeat, but in strong form having won five of their last six games.
The Rangers lost six straight games in late June, before ending the month on a positive note by winning 11-2 in Baltimore.
They backed that up in their first game of July, beating San Diego 7-0 at home, but they failed to keep that win streak going as they lost the next two meetings with the Padres, 6-4 and 3-1.
Texas rebounded against Tampa Bay though, sweeping the Rays in a three-game series thanks to 3-0, 4-3 and 13-2 wins.
The Rangers then went out on the road to beat the Los Angeles Angels 9-4 and 5-4, only to miss out on the sweep as they lost the final meeting, 7-2.
Houston Astros Form
Houston come into this series on the back of a win and in solid form, having won seven of their previous 10 games.
The Astros enjoyed a seven-game win streak in late June, and closed out the month by beating the New York Mets 9-6 and 10-5.
They then started July with a 3-1 victory in Toronto, before rebounding from a 7-6 defeat to the Rays with 92 and 5-3 wins.
Houston took their win streak to three games with a 13-12 victory in Minnesota, only for 9-3 and 3-2 defeats to start a downturn.
The Astros avoided a third straight loss with a 4-3 home win over Miami, and then bounced back from a 9-1 defeat to the Marlins with a 6-3 victory in the series finale.
Verdict
Houston have been on a tear at home and are in good form overall, so we are taking the Astros in this one.
