The 36-year-old Brazilian has gone 3-1 since failing to make weight for a catchweight loss to Jessica Eye in December 2019.
She rebounded from that loss with a unanimous decision win over Montana De La Rosa.
Araujo then backed up that victory with a decision win against Roxanne Modafferi in January 2021, but her momentum stalled a couple of months later.
The Brazilian flyweight lost a decision to Katlyn Chookagian for the second defeat of her UFC career.
She was able to round in May of this year though, earning the nod from the judges after a three-round fight with Andrea Lee to improve to 11-3.
