Movsar Evloev is the number one ranked featherweight contender with a professional record of 19-0 (3 KOs, 4 Subs).
Evloev signed with the UFC in 2019 following a successful run with the M-1 Global promotion that saw him win and successfully defend the bantamweight crown.
He overcame a one-point deduction in his debut fight to beat Seung-Woo Choi on points, and followed that up with a unanimous decision victory over Enrique Barzloa.
The 32-year-old Russian then earned a unanimous vote from the judges to beat Mike Grundy, before splitting the ringside observers in a decision success against Hakeem Dawodu.
Evloev downed Dan Ige on points after that, before earning Fight of the Night honors as he beat Diego Lopes by unanimous decision in his only fight of 2023.
He then stepped up the level of opposition in 2024, but the points victories kept coming as he cemented his status as a top contender.
The Russian fighter beat Arnold Allen in January of that year, and backed it up in the December as he defeated former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling on points.
Lerone Murphy Form
Lerone Murphy is the number three ranked featherweight contender with a career record of 17-0 (8 KOs) with 1 draw.
Murphy reeled off eight consecutive wins on the UK domestic scene to earn himself a place in the UFC in 2019.
His debut did not go according to plan though, as he went to a split decision draw with Zubaira Tukhugov.
The 34-year-old Englishman responded emphatically to that setback though, reeling off nine consecutive victories to climb the rankings and break into the top five.
His first UFC victory was a first-round knockout of Ricardo Ramos, which was followed by a unanimous decision success against Douglas Silva de Andrade and a second-round stoppage of Makwan Amirkhani in 2021.
Murphy did not fight again until 2023, but made up for lost time as he out-pointed Gabriel Santos and Joshua Culibao over three rounds.
He then registered the biggest win of his career to that date when he beat Edson Barboza over 12 rounds, and backed that up with a further points successes against Dan Ige and Josh Emmett.
‘The Miracle’ then made it nine-in-a-row last August when he knocked out Aaron Pico in the first round to earn performance honors.
