Dolidze debuted in the UFC in 2020 with a 6-0 record, and he made a flying start with back-to-back wins.
He failed to make it three-in-a-row in the Octagon as he dropped a decision to Trevin Giles, but he rebounded strongly to win his next four fights.
The 35-year-old Georgian got back on track with a unanimous decision victory over Laureano Staropoli.
Dolidze then backed that up with a three consecutive stoppage wins, starting with first-round knockouts of Kyle Daukaus and Phil Hawes.
He then took out Jack Hermansson with strikes in the second round to continue his climb up the middleweight ladder.
That climb stalled in March of last year though, as he dropped a unanimous decision to Marvin Vettori.
Nassourdine Imavov Form
Nassourdine Imavov is the #11 ranked middleweight contender with a record of 12-4 (5 KOs, 4 Sub) with 1 No Contest.
Imavov compiled an 8-2 record fighting on the European scene before signing with the UFC back in 2020.
He enjoyed a successful debut as he beat Jordan Williams by unanimous decision, but he failed to make it back-to-back wins inside the Octagon, losing via majority decision to Phil Hawes.
The 38-year-old bounced back quickly, knocking out Ian Heinisch in the second round to kick-start his UFC career.
He then stopped Edmen Shahbazyan with strikes in the second round, before making it three-in-a-row with a unanimous decision win over Joaquin Buckley in September 2022.
Imavov has not won since though, seeing his rise up the 185lb rankings come to a shuddering halt.
He moved up to light-heavyweight and lost via unanimous decision to Sean Strickland, who later went on to win the middleweight title.
Then, later that year, Imavov dropped back down to 185lbs and went to a No Contest with Chris Curtis after an accidental clash of heads left Curtis unable to continue.
Verdict
Imavov is the more accurate striker and there are a lot less questions about his cardio, so we expect him to get the nod after a five-round battle.
