Chicago are backed to cover as they move within one game of the playoffs.

The Bulls have done a solid job on Trae Young this year, while DeMar DeRozan continues to be a headache for Atlanta.

  • Chicago Bulls are 7-3-0 ATS in their last 10 games
  • Atlanta Braves are 3-7-0 ATS in their last 10 games
  • The Under has cashed in 5 of the last 6 meetings

Head To Head

  • Chicago Bulls lead the all-time series 139-120
  • Chicago Bulls won the regular season series 2-1
  • Atlanta Hawks won 113-101 when the two teams last met on April 1

Atlanta Hawks Form

Atlanta claimed a place in the Play-In Tournament despite losing their last six games to finish 36-46.

The Hawks enjoyed a good run between late March and early April, as they won six times in a seven-game spell.

That run included a 113-101 victory when they visited their Play-In opponents, Chicago, back on April 1.

Atlanta’s form soon nose-dived though, as they lost 109-95 in Dallas and 142-110 in Denver, before returning home to lose 117-111 to Miami in double overtime, and 115-114 to Charlotte.

The Hawks then went back out on the road for their final two games of the regular season, losing 109-106 in Minnesota and 157-115 at Indiana.

Chicago Bulls Form

Chicago finished the regular season with a 39-43 record, but that was enough to earn a place in the Play-In Tournament.

The Bulls were hit and missed through the first half of April, closing out the regular season with a 3-4 run.

They started the month with a 113-101 win at home to Atlanta, but bounced back with a 108-100 victory over New York.

Chicago failed to build on that though, as they were beaten 113-98 in Orlando and then lost 128-117 at home to New York.

The Bulls rebounded to win 127-105 in Detroit and 129-127 in Washington, but they failed to wrap up the regular season with a win, losing 120-119 in overtime in New York.

Verdict

Neither team is going to make an impact in the playoffs, but Chicago has more chance of at least making it.

They did end the regular season in better form and they have repeatedly done a good job on Trae Young, so we lean towards the Bulls here.
