Dallas Mavericks Form
Dallas go into the second game of the series looking to level it up before taking Oklahoma City back to the American Airlines Center.
The Mavericks, who went 50-32 in the regular season to finish fifth in the Western Conference, got off to a rough start in the playoffs as they lost 109-97 in LA.
They bounced back quickly though, levelling the series with a 96-93 win on the road, and they then took the series lead for the first time with a 101-90 win.
Dallas failed to make it three-in-a-row though, losing 116-111, but they responded with back-to-back victories to clinch the series, winning 123-93 in LA and 114-101 at home.
The Mavericks' winning run was ended in the opening game of this series though, as they were beaten 117-95 at Oklahoma City in Game 1.
Oklahoma City Thunder Form
Oklahoma City enter this matchup with an opportunity to open up a two-game lead before heading to Dallas.
The Thunder, who won the Western Conference with a 57-25 record, continued their dominance of conference opposition by sweeping New Orleans in the first round.
They held the Pelicans to under 100 points in all four games, starting with 94-92 and 124-92 victories at home.
Oklahoma City then went out on the road and held New Orleans to under 90 points as they won 106-85 and 97-89 to wrap up a 4-0 series win.
The Thunder's good defense continued in Game 1 of this series too, as they blew out Dallas 117-95 on Tuesday night.
Verdict
Oklahoma City have been in dominant form in the postseason so far.
They are winning games and covering consistently, so we are sticking with the Thunder for Game 2.
